Delivery

United Kingdom:

  • I endeavour to send all artwork within 3 days upon receipt of payment, except for custom orders. Custom orders will be sent once you have approved preview images of the artwork and are 100% happy with it.
  • Smaller artwork like portraits and prints will be sent by Signed for First Class. I use this delivery option as it protects both you as the buyer and me as the seller, as well as ensuring a quick, guaranteed delivery. Insurance is included in this cost, so should the artwork become lost or damaged you will be refunded. Larger artworks will be sent by courier and should arrive the next working day in most cases. I will provide you with the full tracking details for your artwork so you are able to monitor the progress of your order.

International Buyers:

  • I endeavour to send all artwork within 3 days upon receipt of payment, except for custom orders. Custom orders will be sent once you have approved preview images of the artwork and are 100% happy with it.
  • For smaller artworks and portraits, delivery will be by Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed and in most instances will take between 5 - 7 working days, provided there is no delay by your country's customs. Larger artwork will be sent by international courier and typically takes between 3 - 7 working days. If you would like your artwork sooner, there is an express shipping upgrade available that takes 1-3 working days.
  • Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred. However as this is hand-created artwork, this should not apply to most countries. Also please include your telephone number during checkout, as this is required for shipping labels.


Portraits

  • All portraits are based on the photo(s) you provide at time of ordering. Once work has started on your portrait you will be unable to change the source photo, so if you have submitted the wrong photo it's important to get in touch as soon as possible.
  • An email address must be provided with your order to allow a preview of the finished portrait to be sent, as well as digital file recipients to receive their finished artwork.
  • You will be provided with a preview of your portrait when it's finished for approval. Any changes or dissatisfactions must be expressed at this point, as no further changes can be made after final approval.
  • The art print final outcome will be based on the artwork you approve. I can not be held responsible for any issues arising from you being dissatisfied after your approval.
  • Due to the nature of custom-made artwork, the portraits are not eligible to be refunded. For more information on this please see the Refunds and Returns section below. 

Paintings

  • The aim is to send all ready made artwork within 3 days from payment clearing. However custom artwork may take several weeks depending on the size and complexity of the painting. You will be kept updated of the expected dispatch date throughout the process.
  • Custom commissions can be created on that basis of existing artwork. If you like a ready made painting but would prefer a different size or colour, you may request this by contacting me directly.
  • Orders for custom commissions must include an email address so that I may contact you to discuss the details and progress of your artwork.
  • You will be sent photos of your custom artwork as work continues, and several more upon completion. At this point your approval is required before the painting is sealed and protected with 3 coats of UV varnish, and prepared for shipping. This process takes 4 - 5 days to allow the varnish to dry fully before being packaged.
  • The photos you will be provided with of your commissioned artwork will be taken in natural light and show the true quality of the paintwork as best as possible. However, there may be minor differences in colour due to monitor and screen types.

Refunds and Returns

  • All ready made artwork is described and photographed as accurately as possible, however the work you receive may differ slightly due to differences in screen displays. In particular, paintings with metallic or gloss elements, may reflect light differently on photographs. I'm often told the paintings look "even better in person", but should you be unhappy with your purchase upon receiving it and would like to return it, please inform me within 14 days. You will then have another 14 days to return the item to me. I will issue a refund upon receiving the item back in its original and resell-able condition. The refund will include the cost of standard postage but not the extra cost for any shipping upgrades. The buyer is responsible for the return postage and packaging, and must be sent with tracking or delivery confirmation.
  • Your order will be securely packaged and sent with tracking, to ensure it arrives to you in perfect condition. However, if in the unlikely event it arrives to you damaged, please contact me within 3 days. Include photos of the damage and where possible the packaging, so we can discuss a refund or replacement. Items that are damaged by the customer are unfortunately not eligible for refund or return.
  • Due to the nature of custom portraits, they are not eligible for refunds. I usually start work on portraits within 24 hours of receiving the order. If you have changed your mind and would like to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible. If I haven't started on the order, I will cancel it for you. Although the portraits can not be refunded, I do send previews before printing or sending the final outcome. You can ask for any reasonable changes to the portrait to ensure it's what you wanted. Unfortunately I can not change the source photo for the portrait once I have started work on it
